I think this has been brought up in other threads but thought I should mention it as a reminder.
The auto battery apparently has a metal pin in it for the plunger on the switch. So don't store or place in a pocket near a magnet.
I was vaping a newly filled carto when I went into a store.
Not wanting to upset any one who thought I was smoking I put it in my pants pocket with one of those magnetic money clips.
Feeling a warm sensation I reaches in my pocket and felt the carto on my battery was quite warm. It wasn't warm enough to be a hazard but I found when I left the store it had been on long enough with out any air passing though it to give the RY4 I was vaping a burned taste.
I figure when I clean my cartos it will wash out the burned juice and all will be well with it again.
I tried holding a pair of scissors that had become magnetized near it when I got home to make sure the switch hadn't stuck on and it activates it within approximately 1/4 inch of the battery.

Yeah, the pressure switches in the old batts used a magnetic filament in them. THe new ones don't.

Are the new ones sound activated?, or is the new pressure switch just not effected by a magnet?

I ride motorcycles and have had "HOT POCKET" problems with other sound activated models... I really like your Auto Batts, but will switch to all manuals if they are indeed sound activated..
