Yep, I took advantage of this and got one. When I got it, it was 35 bucks. The V2 was out of stock and I saw that they had the v2 head with the adjustable pin for 10 bucks that you can put on the v1. I picked that up and so now I have the adjustable pin head on the "v1" magneto for about the same price (maybe even a few bucks less).

I love it, It fires everything that I put on it and the vapor is great. However, here is the problem now. . . the firing ring that locks it is stuck on mine. I have googled and found that it has happened to a few people, but I don't know if it has been a problem with anybody here. I think that I probably turned it too hard and I have arthritis in my hands and fingers, and I am sure this figures into it. I always thought that I would need to be careful with the turning of that d**m ring!

Maybe someone has an answer for my problem and I would still highly recommend it to you. It is a beast and I think that it takes the vaping experience to a whole new level.

vape it up

Spectacular, thanks for the recommendation. Can't wait till mine comes in! And I'll try to be careful with the firing ring, thanks for the warning!

Yeah I think the Magneto is fine, it's just a quirk of some of the attys I've got. My Fogger has a flat-head adjustable connector and all I had to do to get THAT working was back it out a bit. Today I'll adjust my AGA-T2 and AGA-TD.

Well plz keep me posted on how the t2 does, so far it's been fine for others but for some not so much. If it needs adjustments on either or the mod or RBA show me where the money is. Thanks!!

All's good now. Disassembled the AGA-T2 (and my shiny new AGA-TD) and when I reassembled it, I made sure the pin was protruding from the 510 connector by....maybe 1mm. I shoulda took a photo. After I took it off, it was almost totally flush with the 510 connector so I must have had it extended just a tiny bit too much. The adjustment wasn't even enough to disturb my coil.

Sounds good, thanks for keeping in touch. Hope I can get mine to work just as well.

One thing to be careful about is when you first loosen the delrin that the center pin fits into. I'm pretty sure I over-torqued mine and destroyed the little spring that allows the brass (?) pin to "float." In other words, my pin just sorta sits there and rattles around.

That's why I bought a whole new eGo-threaded top cap. I'm planning to follow one of the guides on youtube that addresses replacing that center pin entirely with a brass tack. Because, right now anyway, the old cap is useless. Might as well do some experimenting with it.

Glad to help out! I've gotten so much valuable input on this forum, I'm glad when I can return the favor,
even if it IS mostly the result of my own mistakes, heh heh!

But yeah, now that I've been re-schooled on center pin adjustments on atomizers (derp) I'm REALLY diggin' the Magneto!
