Magneto with Igo W-6 Dual coil

I am having an issue with my magneto, i am not a new vapist, however i am not experienced either, i am using a magneto, with an igo w-6 dual macro coil, with a sony 2100 series battery, and the body of the magneto is heating up as well as the button beyond whats its supposed to, i have cleaned it extensively and even have the battery at a full charge, i am unsure why it is heating up, the battery is not hot but the body is...

That is highly possible, however i do not even know where to begin on looking....i was reafing the advisory on sub ohming, now i do sub ohm, i run between about .2 and .7, i have a .2 dual patriot, but my igo i think is .3 or .4

You need to be able to measure your resistance. You're playing with fire otherwise. Sounds like you have.a short somewhere, also very potentially dangerous.

Do you know how many amps you're drawing?

I have a stainless magneto. With the same problem. Occasionally I will hit the fire button and it gets hot like that. But it doesn't always happen. Kinda strange. Occasionally random parts of the tube also do this. running an igo w3 with dual coil that comes in at .27 ohms and vtc4's that I have verified are not coming off the charger overcharged.

I was finally able to fix it though, I bought a sigelei box mod. Problem solved! Lol

Sounds like a short too, but I don't use my magneto below .4 ohms. Get a better mech if you want to run low ohms. A solid one piece tube design with top and bottom cap.
