Hi everyone! Have a question about the type of batteries I have and how best to maintain them. I am currently using an eGo-C Twist and a smaller eGo-T Upgrade as a backup and do not know what type of battery technology is used in these and unsure if I should use them until it flashes to recharge or just top them up whenever convenient to reduce stressing them with full cycles. Any insight is appreciated! Happy vaping!

Thanks, that's just what I needed to know. And what about time on the charger? I have the cheap little USB charger. Do they have built in over-charge protection? I see the light change from red to green when its charged but not sure if it hurts it by staying on the charger. Overcharging is a quick way to kill li-ion cells.

Glad to find that out those folks in China aren't real clear on that in the instructions that came with mine, also not a word about being able to turn the battery on and off.

Well mine was a gift and I received no instructions whatsoever. I just set it up from previous knowledge and just don't want premature death of my batteries if it can be prevented. Sure, I could monitor the charger and take it off when complete, but what if I start it before sleeping? Just curious.

I have 3 batteries all of them came wrapped in bubble wrap with no papers at all. One was free, one is a smoketech ego style battery, the other is a Vision Spinner.

As far as I know the chargers have over charge protection but as with any cheap electronic it could fail at any time. Use your judgement.

I think some batteries have over discharge protection also but same as with the charger you never know if it will work properly.
