Between me and my gf, we both have a normal Ego-t, I an Ego Twist, and she an Ego C upgrade. WE use vision 2.0 clearomizers. We normally use 2.4ohm atomizers, but when trying to buy replacement wicks only 2.8ohms were available. Is it best to use the 2.8ohm atomizers with the Ego C upgrade and Twist? Im not exactly sure what the best battery voltage is, and i know that less resistance will probably require higher voltage. I know that my Twist can go up to 4.8volts and the C upgrade has as high as 4.2. i think the Ego t only uses 3.7 volts. So should we try to stick to the C upgrade and Twist while using 2.8ohms ? What are peoples experience vaping between 3.2 and 3.7vs with 2.8ohms? thanks for any help

With my Ego-C`s set in regulated mode (3.3v) I get very little of anything with anywhere near 2.8ohm.I don`t bother using them in the unregulated mode as I like the power remaining option you get with the regulated mode (led colour gives you the power status for those that are reading this, don`t have an Ego-C and wonder what I mean :?: )
I tend to use 1.8-2.0ohm resistance devices with them as that gives me the best alround results :vapor:

Oh less resistance means you get more watts for the same volts.

EG 3.0v at 1.8Ohm is 5 watts but stick a 2.8ohm on and you are only vaping at 3.2 watts.

3.7 volts is going to be a little low...but that's not to say it'll be un-vapable. With a 2.8ohm head you want to be in the area of 4.2-4.8 volts. Have you looked into variable wattage systems? They are much easier, and take the guess work (or research work) out of the volts/ohms equation. Just set your variable wattage device to whatever wattage you prefer vaping at (normally 5-8 watts). Your VW device will detect the ohms of whatever head is attached and automatically change the voltage to produce your preferred wattage. Pretty cool eh? :)

The Vamo is a good starter VW device.
