Is there a maintenance free tank out there? Changing the coil once a week isnt too bad, but still id rather not.

I use a t2 with the changeable atty, and after about a week it starts to hit less and less. I bought another tank and it does not have a changeable atty, so when that one is done it goes in the trash, and it barely lasted a week.

It seems like I am overheating these things in more than 3 vapes, and have to wait 10 minutes for more. How can I help with the overheating issues?

no such thing as maintenance free...but you can get tanks or whatnot that last longer than others, plus how hard you run it and your technique goes a very long way

Long hard draws like from an analog overheat the coils resulting in burnt juice or other problems...many have found short fast puffs usually help the coils from gooping up and going bad faster

Perfect advice.... It's the technique I use and don't have any trouble.

I have never heard of coil that won't gunk up as you vape. A week is about average. Some juices will clog your coils quicker than others. So you could try some clearer or lighter juice. You can also burn your coils to make them last longer. If you don't how Google it and watch a few YouTube videos. A video will explain it a lot better than I can with words.

The lowest maintenance and hassle are probably the carto tanks. As long as the carto is properly primed, it will last a good while (depending on vaping style of course), and are easy to change. Boge cartos, five for $6, can be found on several online sites. For rebuildables, Genesis-style Smoktech RSST works well for me. Easy to rebuild and solid performance. A spool of Kanthal wire and a skein of organic cotton yarn or bag of organic cotton balls make for cheap supplies, too...$10 for lots and lots of coils and wicks.

My cartotanks are literally maintanance free. Once setup, they require nothing specail...just vape. The Ikenvape cartos last me a good 2 - 3 weeks, and it's easy to exchange the old one with a new one. Setup is a little more involved than a clearomizer, but the better flavor and vapor are worth it. I have over a dozen IBTanked pyrex tanks in various sizes.

I also use Innokin iClear 30 clearomizers. I've tried the others (Protank, Vivi Nova) and much prefer the iClear. Flavor is only a tad less than the cartotanks, but their simplicity can not be denied. I like the dual top coils and 16 wicks of the iClear, and I also like the adjustable drip tip.

Thanks for the advice, was wondering why my tank was getting so warm.

That's what I wanted too...Something I could just pour eliquid in and vape away. Too bad it isn't that way. There are trade offs but really no such thing as maintenance free. I'd guess the RBA's are the closest thing we have to maintenance free. Depending, they can last quite a while between recoiling and rewicking. Like me, you'll get used to it.
