It's been 19 days vaping and no analogs... I spent this weekend in palm springs for my girlfriends birthday weekend celebration!!! Sitting poolside, drinking beer, friends smoking analogs!!!! Ok I have to admit the thought crossed my mind to have a cig!!! Drinking and chain smoking was always really satisfying!! Whenever I felt like lighting up, I just pulled out my ego and vaped like mad!! To my astonishment it was so much more pleasurable than smoking a cig!!!! So I can say i was able to get a little more than tipsy and avoided the temptations of analogs!!!!! Yaaayyyyy for me :)

yeahhh ....good for you kimng. 10 days off the smokes then resisting temptation whie everyone around you was smoking is very good going indeed.

Sounds like you've got what it takes to keep off em for good. Don't get complacent though.

It has been a pleasant surprise to me how easy it has been for me to quit something that i thought i was stuck with for life. E cigs have made it possible for me to take control of something that was hurting me.

Yaaaaaaayyyy for everyone that like you is breaking free

It's been an interesting journey... The first few days I definitely thought about smoking several times a day... But I think mostly out of habit when I was craving nicotine... This weekend was the first time i drank alcohol since i started vaping... I didnt really think I would want a cig... I found it was much easier to resist than I had anticipated.... I have had so much encouragement from my friends and family since I quit... It was so cute today my niece was hugging me goodbye, I gave her a kiss and she said "Tia ur breath smells like bubblegum" I wasn't sure how to respond at first! So much better than hearing ur breath smells like an ashtray!!!

ahhh - bless your niece. Bubblegum smells considerably better than smoke that would be on your breath and in your hair and clothes.
Tia - what are using (e cig). It's obviously working well fo you.

Tia means aunt in spanish :) I'm using an joye ego... I like it a lot... It's very easy to carry, battery life is great, easy to conceal if needed... I'm eyeing the reo mini but think I may stay with the ego for a little while longer... vaping cinnabomb from vaporbomb... I like it very much but I'm still looking for other flavors I like... For me finding ejuice flavors is the hardest part about vaping...

Well it sounds like your well set up there. Makes it easier if everything is going smooth. Sounds like some people have problems with their chosen e cig.
It has helped me that i've had no problems with my gear.
I'm 21 days smoke free today. 3 weeks. And it feels good.
Take a deep breath. ........ Isn't that good to fill your lungs with fresh air....no chest pain.
It's amazing how quickly our bodies work to right all the wrong we've done over the years.

I have the whole "flavours" thing ahead of me. When i got my e cig i ordered a lot of tobacco flavour liquid.
I've ordered some samples. So that'l be nice to have a different taste in my mouth. Because to be honest....tobacco never ever did taste good....lol

I wish you every success in breaking free from the smelly and seriously harmful analogs.

Congrats to you del boy and thank you for the encouragement!!! I read many posts on ecf before deciding on a PV and i am glad I did!!! I'm grateful I found a PV that works for me... That's not to say there wasn't a bit of a learning curve with carts, cartos, dripping, etc... I'm using boge lr cartos now which I like a lot... Easy to maintain and fill... Biggest plus for me is portability... Happy vaping!!!

Great job! I am very proud of you :) You'll feel even better once you get to a year! One word of caution: Try not to vape all day, all the time. It has been known to happen ( to me ). Although I may not be inhaling smoke and tar, I'm taking in alot more nicotine than I used to. Still better than analogs and I love it! Congrats again!

Haha!!! Ok I have to admit I have done this myself... I vape light to moderately though out the day... However, at night while reading ecf or watching tv i find I vape quite heavily. I love vaping so much. Once i get a little light headed I have to set it down for a while... If it's in my hand I'll keep puffing on the thing...

Thanks for the advice!!
