Make your own platinum look ...

Tried this on a 901 and it looks really great - better than i had hoped, really nice. Wrap around some sandpaper (i used grade 100, fine-ish) and twist so always in the same direction - around the tube. Takes some work but the white or black coating comes off nicely to give a lovely platinum look. Makes the vaporizer look slimmer too, and not only because the paint is quite thick. As models may vary, i give no guarantee on this of course - try an expired battery or atomiser first.

Glad to know i'm not the only one

I got a nice brushed effect - not sure if that was there all along or created by my sandpapering, around the barrel only.

Yeah, looks so much like a cool gadget now

Makes one wonder why the unpained platinum ones that can be bought are usually higher priced - just because they can i guess!

I just need a black mouthpiece now - would look so much better than orange ...

And looking for something more stylish to replace the 'ash effect end cap.

ps : anyone want to try this - do battery and atomiser separately after removing cartridge holder and the 'ash' (light) end cap. Blow off and out all dust after and wide down with a little oil on a kitchen towel.
