When you are referring to your batteries I take it they are 3 volt batteries x 2 getting you the 6 volts? Then no regulator needed as you thought. If they are 3.6 or 3.7 volts per battery you will use a regulator to go to 5 volts not 6. Use the 3 volt batteries x 2 for 6.

And keep that atomizer happy with frequent e-liquid

When making a dual battery mod, wired in series is it necessary to use a regulator? I am using protected battery's and 5 amp switch. Do 3.2 ohm atomizers burn up at 6 volts? and need to be regulated to 5?
Assuming a true 6V that combo produces about 11 watts pulling about 1.9A. That's not too extreme.

As a comparison a Joye 510 atty paired with two 3V Tenergy LiPO's produces about 13 watts pulling about 2.4A. This is a combo many use.

I'm sure as hell not trying to argue with the Connman but I find that regular 901 and 510 attys dont last very long when subjected to 6V. I use HV attys on my 6V mods. I just tossed a dead one yesterday after 2 months of nearly constant use at 6V. It was a 901. I buy them here Atomizers .

Oh no please do if I said something stupid. I`ve only been up to 5 volts myself on any mod. heard to many burnt atomizer happen after that. So you being a true 6 volt is all good info in my book. :toast:

A side note now I`ve recently completed my first atomizer rebuild and did another and they are working. This is something that I can sit back and know if I got E-liquid I can have a mod to use it. My cost of this being a cheaper alternative to cigarettes has just gone done farther.

Rebuilding attys? I'm impressed. That sounds incredibly tedious.
