Looks good. As long as it glows from the middle of the coils out and they heat up at the same time, your golden. Your ohms are pretty darn low with that build so make sure that you use the correct batteries and be safe. Because that atty's pushing just over 23 amps and close to 100 watts. Like Sony VTC's, Efest 35a, et cetera.... Keep on vaping!!

Your twisted build looks great BUT your purple EFest batteries are only 20A CDR not 35A like is printed on the wrapper. If you are using a mod that uses a single 18650 battery your build exceeds the CDR of your battery.

Purple Efest Batteries not as Advertised
* A cautionary blog that reveals that the purple Efest batteries may not have the specifications advertised. Also includes a commentary on "continuous discharge ratings" vs "pulse discharge ratings" of battery specs.

Everyone is free to set their own parameters (with regards to headroom), and I can only say what mine are.

I try to never exceed 50% of the CDR of a battery. So with your 20A batteries, that would be 10A.
This Ohm's Law Calculator tells me that a .4 ohm build is as low as I would want to use.

The reason that I place a 50% limit is because as a battery ages the mAh of the battery degrades, as the mAh degrades, so does the batteries c rating. (amp limit) So down the road, your 20A battery may only be a 10A battery.

If you want a true 30A CDR battery here are several you could look at.

1. Orbtronic SX30 2100mah 30A
2. Sony VTC4 2100mah 30A (there are no authentic VTC5's out there)
3. Xtar 2100mah 30A (re-wrapped Sony VTC4)

BATTERIES - WHERE TO BUY

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

* RTD Vapor
* Illumination Supply
* Lighthound
* Orbtronics

Susan is right, it is better to be safe than sorry. especially when using a mech mod. The only RBA that I have built lower than .3 is on my temperature controlled dna40 vaporshark. If you have a Smartphone 2 really good apps to have are vapers toolbox and of course Ohms law calculator. Even though our batteries say they are 3.7v they are actually 4.2v hot off the charger so with that voltage ( 4.2v ) and your resistance (Ohms ), you can calculate your amps and wattage. Hope this helps, have a good one and Keep on vaping!
