Hi! There are thousands of members on here that make their own juice. It would behoove you to check out the DIY E Liquid forum. As for flavorings, nothing you can get at the store will really be the best. There have been some members having success with a couple of store bought flavorings, but I just don't trust them. I would recommend Capella Flavors and The Flavor Apprentice. Both are awesome companies that make some kick-... flavors and there are thousands of recipes out there suited for any vaper.

Here are some links:

If you have tried tons of different recipes and they are all bad, then it's probably not your flavorings.

It is either your bases or you.

What do your plain PG, plain VG, and unflavored nicotine (mixed down to your usual level) taste like when you vape them?

If those all have a neutral flavor or no flavor, then you have to go to HOW you are measuring and your process. There are a ton more questions to get to the crux of this, but those can wait until we know about the bases.

I have found ( with a few exceptions ) that most fruit and berry mixes are about 10% meaning of your making a 10ml bottle, you'll be using about 1ml of flavoring. Tobacco flavors are usually much less and then you have super concentrates. I personally like TFA. Its all about your tastes and I suggest sticking with eazy recipes like single or 2 flavors to start and making small batches until you get something that works good for you. remember its always easier to add a little more than to take it away. :D Hope this helps.

start out making 2-3 ingredient mixes. Trying to do 10 flavors in one juice can get pretty nasty! LOL I messed up on a lot but I found several I really enjoy.
My Honey Peary Cream and Candy Cane are my favorites right now and they only have a few ingredients. They still need tweeking so I wont post the recipes. but it should give you an idea of how to start out. If you use tobaccos from TFA DO NOT use more than 3% I like really strong flavors but more than that with the tobacco is just too overpowering and you will probably gag.
