From what I have gathered here and elsewhere, I can mix pg with 'powder' ethyl maltol to make a sweetener:

If I add a little, to round off/enhance dull flavors;
If I add more, to sweeten.

I'm thinking of mixing 9ml warm pg with several 1/32 scoops ethyl maltol.

I saw this in a post about diy liquids, but can't find it now.

I would rather not be ridiculous and use glass beakers and pga. I have seen videos about this and don't know if this is necessary.

Any help would be appreciated.

When I made mine I put it in a bottle and shook it up. It took a few hours maybe, and maybe a little heat (hot water bath).

TFA (The Flavor Apprentice) makes a flavoring called Cotton Candy which is 10% EM. That is very more or less 1ml EM to 9ml PG. Somewhere I have a formula I got in a post here with the supposedly correct dry weight, But unless you're trying to copy an exact formula from someone that uses TFA Cotton Candy the precise ratio is not terribly important. Some people just keep adding EM until it saturates (won't dissolve any further).

Thank you! That's what I was looking for! I mixed some up waiting on responses. It def smells like cotton candy.
