Hello everyone, I have been vaping for 18 months now and enjoying it. I feel that I am ready to make my own juice. I vape Velvet Cloud Vapor's Mt. Shasta Frost juice and would like to duplicate it. I can only vape VG and like throat hits so I must vape at 24 mg. The local vape shop ramps up the nicotine, but doesn't always get it right so I would rather make my own. I ordered a scale and syringes from Amazon, VG & 2 flavors (peppermint & spearmint) from a shop in Canada. Where could I get good Nicotine from (I live in Canada) and the recipe for Velvet Cloud Vapor's Mt. Shasta Frost juice?

Searching out a "cloned" recipe (I highly doubt you will find one, most juicemakers don't give that information out, for obvious reasons, any clone you may find is likely going to be someone else's "best stab" at that juice, and it may or may not taste similar to you) is not always the best way to START DIY.

I'd suggest (since it appears to at least offer the fact that it's made from several mints) gathering some tester sized various mints (perhaps even a menthol, but not necessarily). Make tester bottles, but also see if you can figure out what else is making it work. Does it have some sweetness, or none at all? If it does, you may need a sweeter to experiment with. If it's buttery at all, maybe something like Purlilum's butter mint might be a good addition. If there is a hint of cream or anything else, you could look at some sweet cream, or some vanilla/cream type flavors, too.

I'd suggest small tester mixes based on what you think you can "taste" from the juice, and not really search for a 1:1 clone, but create some mint concoctions of your own, to see where you land. You may find yourself winding up with many mints you enjoy, not just one.

Cloning's hard even with DIY.

Best of luck and welcome to DIY, and I hope you meet with success.

DIY is a good thing but trying to clone some store bought juice is not likely to work out very well. Not likely to ever end up with anything that is close to accurate.

Better to just go with flavors you think you might like and experiment. It can take a long time to come up with several juices that you like well enough to continue with.
