Making sure I don't under do ohms

Hey guys!

I just got my very first rda.. I like it, and I also enjoy that I am on a regulated, vv mod. Which has an ohm reader.

There is just one problem. When I'm wrapping a coil, how can I "guess" its resistance before checking the ohms? Is it just a matter of wrapping and re wrapping over and over again until you have it down? Or is there a relatively easy way to figure something like this out?

I have no problems checking ohms keep in mind..

Pretty much trial and error. Guess you can get drill bits and go by ohms and wraps that people post. I use a mini screwdriver and make coils and write it in a book the gauge and amount of wraps so I know for next time. Good luck to you.

If you have an Android smartphone there is a free app that has this info for any variable. Type of wire, gauge, diameter of coil, wire needed, wraps needed, resistance...etc. Its called Vapers Toolbox.

This coil building calculator is pretty accurate. It will at least get you in the ballpark
