Is this the Zeus X you're talking about?Hello and thank you for your reply. Yes I can get spares for the models I mentioned, and there are pre made coils available as well as wire.
I like a Direct mouth to lung or a restricted mouth to lung, not a MTL fan.
I have seen all the reviews on youtube, none recommend which is better for someone making the switch , that is reason why I am here. There are no RDTAS available in the country right now, only RTAs and RDAs. I like the Wasp Nano rta from what I've seen on youtube, but everyone talks about the plastic cap threads and how they may break etc, the spare caps are not available here. But I have not seen anyone complaining about the cap in any recent videos, every reviewer two years ago said they thought it would be a problem, but then none confirmed if it broke or not.
Geek Vape ZEUS X 25mm RTA (ZX RTA)
If it is, the link above is for single or dual coil configs. Read some of the reviews - it would appear that the design is almost identical to the mesh RTA I'll link below, which I absolutely love. Both are also top air flow, so they're less prone to leaking issues you'll find on bottom air flow RTA/RDAs.
If the link below is the one that's available to you, it's the Mesh version.
Geek Vape ZEUS X MESH RTA (ZX II RTA)
If this is available to you, I would highly recommend it. Of the build decks you listed above, this is the only one I have in hand (actually in hand, because it's one of the 3 main vapes I use). It's probably my favorite RTA for flavor/clouds of all of the tanks I currently have. Mesh builds are also almost dummy-proof. This will provide you with ample practice in wicking, which you will find difficult until you figure out how to fluff, cut, and tuck your wick perfectly - then you'll hit it almost every time.
In the mesh kit, you'll receive a thick rod that you bend the mesh rectangle around into a semi-circle. You then feed the ends of the mesh down into each of the clamps and tighten the screws/clamps. Use the wick they provide (or double the wick strands if it's for a normal coil), feed it under the mesh coil (it should feel tight, but that's what the spring-loaded plastic piece below the mesh is for), cut the overhanging ends at about a 1/4th of an inch (5-6 mm) past the edge of the build deck, softly tuck the ends down so that it completely covers the juice ports (it just needs to cover the ports, not be shoved "into" them). Run a few 2 or 3 beads of juice across the coil (priming) and then onto the wick, pausing from time to time to allow the cotton to soak the juice in. Do this until there's no visibly dry cotton. You want to stop priming before the cotton stops absorbing the juice and it begins dripping off or pooling up in the juice well, otherwise you'll flood the deck and learn what spit back is, lol. Screw the top housing back on and give it a few 1-2 second pulses. Smell the vape coming out and make sure it doesn't smell like anything it shouldn't. Voila - hopefully you'll be experiencing amazing taste and flavor.
If the RTA you have access to has the normal coils, that's going to need a bit more finesse work which can be shown in the video below along with a lot of other good information regarding how the build works with its air flow. This is something to keep in mind for future tanks since the air flow drastically changes how a tank tastes and how much air flow you'll be able to achieve.
Also grab yourself a cheap toolkit. Something with scissors, ceramic tweezers, 2.5 and/or 3mm coil winders (nice for straightening out and positioning non-mesh coils), and wire cutters. This is what I started with and it hasn't fallen short on me on any builds yet.
