Not sure exactly what happened, but the switch and LED on one of my 510 mega batteries isn't working after I took it off the charger. When I screw an atomizer on to it it activates, but I don't have control over it. My question is, is it safe to charge and use like this? The one battery I have left isn't enough for me, and I don't have the money to replace it right now.

I would see if screwing the atty on less tightly causes this to happen. try with a couple different attys. If it happens with more than one atty I would blame the battery. To answer your question: I wouldn't use it if it isn't a question of overtightening the atty. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks, but I don't think that's it. The atomizer starts sizzling when it's barely 3/4 of the way screwed on.

I was just using it with some LR cartos I have since it's trashed anyway, and there's a bad burnt electronics smell coming from where the button is. So I'm definitely not going to use it except for maybe in an extreme emergency. Just gonna have to keep an eye on my good battery's charge and hope it lasts a few more weeks.
