I am a GUY from L.A. not girl. lol
I was in the "I love auto batts" group before I got my eGo. I hated the idea of having to push a button. Now, I have been using my eGo manual for a couple weeks and w/ my eGo temporarily OOC, I'm using my 510 again...and I hate it. Manual batteries give SO much more control and better vapor. I don't even know how I put up w/ auto batts in the begining. I posted this in the New Members forum because I thought it might help those who are on the fence between Manual and Auto. :2c:

Forgot to mention that Autos suck worse than suck when your on the road next to a big rig. The noise sets them off/
Loud country music does it too :p.
My first 901 Auto sucked (pardon the pun). Gave it to a friend to try, she reported that loud country music set it off. Don't know if she was also around big rigs at the time, but ....

Some of you guys aren't using the right autos then. I use both auto and manual battery e-cigs...and I love them both equally. KR808d-1 and the GreenCig G400 are two that it appears no one has bothered to try here before writing off auto batts. I started off with autos that I wasn't happy with...but the technology has improved over the past year.

Ditto. Fortunately I ordered my first 510 kit with 1 manual batt and 1 auto. Within the first few hours I determined never to buy another auto until and unless the technology improves.

My 510 starter kit came with the motorola vacuum switch. It's great. No complaint's except for the fact that I can't find any spare batteries with the same tech...

Yes, in one word. A good example: bought an Ego kit with two manual batts in Feb 2010...In March I bought a 5 pack of auto batts....both from the same supplier...
Today, Aug 1, 2010,,,still have one of the manual batts going stronge....All 5 of my
auto batts are dead and gone...Shipped them away to other people on this forum to
"play around with"....I still have one 510 auto batt left,,,but never use it...So, for me,
auto batts don't live up to the benefits they are suppose to make on a person using
a PV...Of course, my opinion,,,,and Enjoy the Adventure...P.S. Hi Stu....

I have 7 auto shortys, 1 auto regular and 2 auto XL all from V4L, 2 reg manual and 5 XL manuals all from V4L, a spark plug and a Chuck....all used with cartos only.

I use the auto batts EVERY day and the manuals about once a week when I am driving or out of the house. I haven't had them go off with noise...they do have about an 8 sec cutoff if they did go off though.
