I use the Echo 1300mah auto batt with Echomizer cartos and really like the set up. Great vap, easy, convenient. My problem is the battery life. I am super .... about not over filling my cartos and getting juice on the battery. The damn batts only seem to last a few weeks before they die on me! I suppose I could try manual batts but I would just as soon stay with autos. Any ideas or similar experiences out there?

Thanks.

i ordered a couple a few weeks ago. within 1 week one of them was dead. the replacement i received was DOA. i won't order anything from that company again. the one they sent that i still have only works about half as well as it should. i've had my original for about 10 months and it's stronger than that 'new' one. i'm not gonna mention the companies name right now.

Did you constantly drain the batteries until they were dead? If you did then that might be the reason since that shortens the lifespan of the battery.

Also, the center pin trick did work for me. But, I had to do it to the charger itself. I guess if a battery is constantly being screwed on and off then it lowers the pin to the point where I can't make a connection. Used a hemostat to lightly pull the pin up and it would charge the battery. Unfortunately, I have to do that every time.
