Indonesian cigarette contains cloves - which give sweet taste and crackling noise when you smoke it. I've tried it and it's an acquired taste, but I've never seen any cigarette explode like that. WTF was he doing anyway smoking while riding a motorbike?

What. I used to smoke while riding a motor cycle. You had to cup the cigarette or it didn't last long but it wasn't any problem to smoke.

article doesn't say he was smoking a kretek (clove), just a cigarette. i smoked cloves for years, never had one explode.
and i smoked all the time while i rode. any ash that hits you slides right off, you never feel it. now, of course, i vape while i ride.

Haven't riden with a PV yet, but will....
Just cup it in your hand as they use to teach you in the military
so nobody sees the lite end of the cigee..and of course just move
your hand back away from the bar and let the ashes fly behind you...

I've had a regular one have the tip explode and it didn't have the joke exploding load in it (do they even still sell those?). I think a seed or something of the like was in it.
