Hey guys,

I have just bought my first e-cigarette from e-cig.com

After reading some reviews on the e9 I think I have made the wrong choice, it seems that they are a poorly made e-cig with little vapor (its still in the mail and have not received it yet).

So im asking for some advice...If i don't like the e9 I will endeavor to find a suitable e-cig that will help me quit the analogs for good, i know there are so many sites with so much information and its hard to take it all in at once.

so my question is, what is a decent e-cig that I will most probably be happy with? im not asking what the best e-cig is but just want something that will satisfy me and not turn me off e-cigs forever.

bare in mind that im in Australia so i need someone that will ship over here and not cost me an arm and a leg. Im also looking for a website that has a few flavours and sells carts in packs of 50 or more.

thanks guys and hope you can help me :)

For a starter kit you cant go wrong with a joye eGo. Just be sure to get one that has two atomizer and two cones in it. I have seen some for cheaper but they are not full kits. If you cant get juice down under you can click on my sig it will take you to freedomSmokeUSA they ship internationally for 20 bucks so a big order might be worth it. If it costs them less then 20 to ship they will refund the difference.

You can't go wrong with a 510, Jarrod. For something that shouldn't cost more than $40 or so for a complete kit--or less, if you order from the right place--their performance is very impressive.

This doesn't mean you won't soon find yourself moving up the ladder into 3.7V devices & mods, but it's an excellent starting point.

thanks guys, im looking at all of the above now. The ego looks really nice but the website only sells liquids and I dont think I want to go down that road until i fully understand the e-cig etc.

..then you'll have to stick to pre-filled cartridges.

I started with an E9 and it's OK (operative word is OK). I've got a 510 and an Ego and there's no comparison...go with the Ego.

510 or 510 eGo are both good - Ive used both myself btw - still using the eGo (the basic 510 got retired after I got an eGo)
Being in Aus you should be able to get your stuff from China without too much shipping delay - check out the Australia Forum - E-Cigarette Forum for info on popular (and reliable) suppliers you can use :)

Try watching some vids also, lots of imfo out there. grimmgreen and Doctor vapor. both of these guys can really help... I started with a manual 510 and then went to a ego, which uses the 510 stuff . Don't give up. After alsmost 25yrs of 3 pack a day smoking it has changed my life. Most of will reccomend what we are comfortable with. You have to find your brand so to speak.

Jarrod, I gather that you would prefer to avoid buying eliquid to fill or refill your own cartridges or cartomizers at first. In that case, your best bet would probably be a KR808D-1 from vapor4life, or cigeasy, or vapornine, or any of the many sites that carry a version of that model. You will find more prefilled cartomizers in more flavors for that ecig than for the 510.
510 users often prefer to fill their own cartridges or cartomizers. You can fill or refill cartomizers for the KR808D-1. It is just that more flavors are generally available in prefilled for that model.
I prefer a 510. But I started with a KR808D-1 from vapor4life. It is a decent ecig, with good vapor and th.
