Brand new to e-cigs, just got my first one yesterday and god do I love it. Both my parents smoke and they want to quit, and I just want to be able to enjoy nicotine without a crapload of carcinogens. We ordered the 8pc starter kit from Red Dragon, everyone loves it, and we each want our own charger, spare battery, etc so I was thinking I'd like to order 2 more 8pc kits; in addition, our family owns a bowling alley and we are thinking of retailing e-cigs out of the bowling alley and thats sort of where my confusion starts.
If I understand what I've read on these forums correctly then Red Dragon simply re-brands an LTV 9 model e-cig, gives it a markup, and re-sells it. Now, one of the threads I was reading indicated that Red Dragon gets it's products from e-cig.com. So thinking it would be cheaper(and potentially more profitable) to just buy directly from the manufacturer I went to e-cig.com and checked out their products discovered that they don't have any model called LTV 9; they have a model called E9, which looks exactly like my LTV 9, but just to make sure that it's the same kind of e-cig I did another search on the forum. I didn't get any results that cleared things up, instead I see a thread from a supplier offering carts for a whole bunch of e-cig models including the LTV9 E9 U9 DSE 901, and a bunch of others. So, first thing I need some help with is this
What is the Difference between the LTV9, E9 DSE901 and U9? Is there any difference or is it just different terms for the same model?
Ok, next thing I need some help with, I'm reading that the FDA is siezing shipments of e-cigs coming from China(which sucks btw). So if Red Dragon buys from e-cig.com, and e-cig.com is based in China and if shipments are getting stopped then how did Red Dragon have the ability to send me a product? I once again searched the forum, and read a thread that seemed to indicate that shipments from e-cig.com aren't being stopped because they aren't labelling them innappropriatly, and only manufacturers who are labelling e-cigs as promoting better health or smoking cessation devices are getting stopped by the FDA. So that leads me to more questions:
If I order a shipment from e-cig.com will I actually be able to get it? Would I have to do anything special prior to ordering from e-cig.com? Is e-cig.com reputable or should I avoid them? If e-cig.com can't get any products into the US should I just purchase en-bulk from Red Dragon so atleast my family will have enough carts and batterries to last for a while, and just forgo the idea of retailing e-cigs?
Sorry for how long this post is, and thanks in advance to anyone who can provide me with some answers. Oh, and FYI I'm in Ohio, in the US, in case that matters.
