at the moment i only have autos, however the 510 im looking at has 2 manuals and one auto. when im moving arround alot i just toss mine in my pocket. is this safe to do with a manual

I left mine in my pants overnight in the same pocket with my keys it had a fresh charge and didnt think about it untill the morning. By the time I got to it the battery was dead and my pants were not in flames. The cart was dry though. Try that with an analog. 
eh that kinda depends on your pants and whats in them. if im wearing baggy jeans i dont have a problem with my 510 turning on. if i wear somthing not so baggy and i sit every now an then it will come on.
I have not yet had a problem with my manual bat PV in my pocket. I toss it in there regularly and have yet to accidentally push the button.
Obviously something you'd want to be mindful of though. Don't leave it in your pocket while you roll around on the couch/bed taking a nap.
