i was watching some tv in bed last night and my 901 manual had fallen beside me on the button, i didnt realize it til i picked it up and it burnt my fingers a bit. I quickly took the atty off the battery and let it sit for about 10 minutes before checking to see if it i had killed it. luckily it was fine but i have learned my lesson about manual batteries... you gotta keep your eye on them lol

Yes I have a very similar story. Almost exactly the same in fact. Who knows how long it was there but there was no permanent damage to the battery or atomizer. This was with a joye510. Either way the button can be pressed quite easily. So since then I havn't kept it in my pants pocket while I am doing anything but standing (like at the bar) but I do have a case for it. Also with the case if it's not set in sideways when I close it, it presses the button. So just be carefull. I only own man batts but I do have a few friends with autos. From what I can tell the man batts are more durable than autos because with in a month, two of my friends autos died.. LONG LIVE JOYE 510!

So far I've had no problems with the button on the 510, but I haven't had it that long and I keep it in the PCC.

With the automatic batteries on my INSTEAD, I've had one go on in my pocket. Not from movement or loud music, though. My batteries have all been good, but in this one case, the battery was LED down in the pocket, and 'quid leaked from the cart into the battery and stuck the switch on. At least that's my theory. The cutoff kicked in at 11 seconds, but it still gave my atty a lousy taste.

Lesson? Keep automatic batteries LED up.

Oh, and less 'quid in my carts. I have a tendency to overfill.

There was a day this week that for some reason (not normal) i stuck my pv in my back pocket and then got into the car to drive home from work....

NOT A GOOD IDEA.....my .... felt the burn and i had to get it out of my back pocket and quick.

I don't think I'll make that mistake again any time soon. I do love my manual 510's though....even if they burn my behind once in a while.

Go to the local Dollartime where the sunglasses/reading glasses are. They carry these little reading glasses cases which you can store your full atty in. Costs a dollar, eliminates the possibility of running your battery down unbeknownst.

The one I got resembles a tiny hardshell sunglasses case. I can carry two disassembled e-cigs, an extra cartridge and a tiny bottle of e-liquid. They fit easier in the pocket than a wallet.

Likely most dollar stores catty them, but I'm giving you what I know.
