I have an ego powerpal manual battery attached to an LD aGat5 still with the original coil (about one week old) and the battery starts blinking and shuts off after 4 seconds of inhaling. It is fully charged and have had no other problems. The LD isn't heating up more than barely registering as warm-ish, and the vapour is still clean and copious. Is this a battery problem or is this the indication that the coil needs replacing? I only ask because usually when a coil needs replacing there is little to no vapour or it starts to taste acidic and that hasn't happened.
I also have a Vision spinner II VV and attached to this head I get a quarter the amount of vapour than I do with my small ego (it's the second smallest sized ego powerpal battery) and the higher the setting on the VV battery the less vapour I seem to be getting-but the VV came with a problem where there isn't a 'stop' between the low and high setting son the wrong side. The power selection ring will spin the while way around in either directions infinitely.
both batteries are only about 5 months old. Any ideas what's going on?
Also, out of curiosity can anyone explain why coils need to be replaced? Is it just that they get dirty, or does something specific wear out or breakdown in the metal wiring ect ect.
