My joining date says April 2010, but it really is 2011:)

I know I'm "new" (sort of) but have been using a manual battery for both my mini-901 and the KR808-D1 with problems continuing.

When I want a hit, I push in the button. IF it's a warmed up unit it does work from just OK to having to mash button in, but if cold....not much at all.

I've had it stick so badly I've had to use a paring knife to pop it back out because it was heating up! Today I had to drop it on the sidewalk to get it out, as I was not 'equipped' to fix it any other way.

Then I have one that hasn't been very usable & have to send it back. When I tried to pop the button out, as I've read here somewhere, it pushed in and is competely useless now, Argh!

Has anyone had this issue? I've been anxious about this & have just been abled to start this thread.

Update: I sent back the dead/manual batteries, but have SINCE had brand NEW one's fail! The only 1 I've had ANY success with is my 1 mini-901 "short" battery (oldest, yet STILL going strong!).

I'm so disappointed with these manuals, yet strongly dislike auto's that I believe I will still keep searching for the perfect manual. The short 1's seem to have much longer longevity...only God knows why! :/ I'm still confused at this point!

Anyone have similar experience OR advice??? Maybe it's my battery? I dunno, but willing to explore options as long as they don't break me! LOL

Ugh!
