I would say it would be worth trying. I mainly vape at my desk at work and the manual seems to have a harder th and A LOT more vapor so i am just going to use it at home. I had finally stopped chain vaping because it wasnt new anymore... then i got a new toy lol

I really enjoy it so far. I am looking forward to comparing battery life too but i havent used it enough yet.

For the least effort you shift your press and release a bit earlier in time than your drag.

press and hold (to start it making vapor)
about 1/2 to 1 second later start dragging
continue to drag and about 1-2 seconds before you are done dragging
let up the button
and continue dragging out whatever vapor remains in the mouthpiece

That way you are dragging when the vapor is best :)

Typically you drag e-cigs a bit slower than cigarettes (you don't want to out-pace your atty because then you would get more air in your vapor). And you drag into your mouth then inhale. And let your nose smell some of the vapor because smell is a huge part of flavor. SOmetimes I let some waft out of my mouth so my nose catches it on the inhale.

I think dormouse has it right. That's the way I use the manual batt, although everyone has their own way of doing things.
Enjoying my kr8 very much and after using a manual batt, would never go back to an auto.

Also, if I want an extra long drag, I'll release the button for a second right before I think it's going to reach the cut-off, and press again for another 4 or 5 second drag before I inhale.
