Ok... I really did not think I wanted a manual battery but now I may have to try one..

Can someone tell me the difference between the "NEW" XL & the other XL? They have both on the site and I am not sure which to try?

I commute for a living currently, and if you've got 3,000+ watts of sound in the car, manuals are ESSENTIAL!!!!! I found that with the automatics, even removing the atty/cartomizer left me with dead batteries by the time I got to my destination. But that's just me...

Manuals all day, but my automatic is awesome before bed. I just like laying in bed and not having to do anything, but draw on my auto and drift into sleep.

For those new to mans... you might want to try something on occasion. Press the button for a few secs before you take a drag. Wham. Totally satisfying when you're in need of a power hit, but be careful since the batt can get pretty hot after a few of these. Worth it, though, IMO, and the biggest advantage of man batts for me. You can thank me later.

Well I guess I'm in the minority here..started out with the VK manuals all the way, but I ordered a auto to try, and most of my manuals now are barely used.
I like the auto for convenience, hit, and since I never had to push a button to get a cig to hit, autos are the way for me.

When i first started e-cigs, I started with both a manual and auto 510. I just couldn't stand the auto. It would go off in my car when the subs were on, when the wind blew, when i tapped it too hard. I couldn't stand the thing. I switched to the VaporKing when I got fed up with atty's and knew I would never own an auto again. RIP you annoying little thing.

That's the problem with microphone-based autos. The original VKs didn't have that problem. Too bad you didn't try an auto that didn't suck [well, one that didn't suck without some sucking anyway...].

Just recieved my manual xl's today. I have to say that first impressions are ...terrific!
More vapour,more flavour and bigger throat hit...awesome so far.
Two of these,3 fav carts and i reckon i wont have any vapin worries all day....just vape!

I started out with autos wanting to have a similar alternative to smoking but after all the good comments, I bought a manual recently. The first hit was all it took. The TH (or chest hit as someone else called it) was exactly like a cigarette. Now, the autos sit around fully charged. If I could trade, I'd get rid of them and just go manuals all the way!

- I wear 4 XL manual PVs around my neck, with various cartomizer flavors and strengths, varies every day. I also have a manual and an auto PT, and several other auto and manual batts. I use auto batts for lending out, and vaping when I need 2 hands, which is rare.
- The best thing about manual batteries is that you don't have to worry about juice getting inside them, since they are sealed. This is my biggest worry since I fill and refill all my cartos; the juice has ruined a few sensors in the past.

Spoke too soon about the virtue of manuals. One of my manuals has a button that needs to be pushed several (5-10) times before it finds the "sweet spot" and fires up. Then it has to be held just right during the vape or it shuts off. The other one works like a charm every time though. Any fixes for that?

go to customer service and explain what is happening, i'm sure they will replace your defective batt that's not working correctly...

The Manual's are definitely more reliable in my opinion, plus you can quickly pre-sizzle them for an easier draw

Pre sizzle.....I like the sound of that. I use autos now but may try a manual in the future. Thanks to those who have gone before....
