im concerned to pretty much put my ecig in my pocket because im afraid of pushing the button without the atty attached or even with it attached, and having the atty or the batt burn out. how could i avoid this until i get a PCC?

Pushing the button without the atty attached will not damage the battery. There would be nothing being powered except the LED and that uses almost no current. With the atty attached the only thing that would happen would be you may burn yourself if its on too long. You'd have to have it pushed for a LONG time to have the atty burn out. Besides, these buttons are not easily pushed just from being in a pocket. I know it's possible but I don't think anyone has ever ruined anything from it.

ill take your word for it, but i thought the bat is current regulated, and it would burn up the chip ontop of the batt
