First, let me say this is a WONDERFUL Forum! It is well moderated and friendly, not to mention the VAST information and supportive folks! Thanks!

Well, I am 5 days into serious vaping. KGO Mustang and I love it! Still experimenting with juices and one particular LR cart.

It is really neat not having to go to the garage to "smoke" and not having to deal with lighters and ashtrays. Not to mention that it has gotten my wife off my back about smoking (and saving $$$!!!).

I still have an analog now and then. Maybe one a day, if that. But I can see them being a thing of the past.

Now I have two questions...
First, is there a mod for attaching the PV to a neck strap? That way, it is easier to vape while riding my motorcycle. May sound silly, but...

Next, has anyone considered taking a "Tupperware" or "Mary Kay" approach to marketing? One of the biggest hurdles to making the switch is not having a point of reference. Being able to "taste-test" different juices, seeing the different type of PVs etc. seems like an easy sell. Personally, there were two things that kept me from switching years ago. First was the credit card trap that some of the companies try. Next, was just not knowing if "it was for me".

Now I do, and it is!

I might be able host one if someone wants to do the leg and press work (I don't drive so would be hard for me to get around). New to e-cigs, so I don't have all the goodies, but I'm sure a lot of people would be willing to bring enough goodies for people interested in testing to try. Something to think about, and spread the word to see if enough people would be willing to give it a go. We might even start a new trend....like an e-cig (tupperware) party maybe :)

Glad you are pleased with your ECF/Vaping journey so far. Always something new to learn. The ECF community is why a lot of us hang around long after we're not considered noobs anymore.

The idea of having a vaping party a la Tupperware, Party Lites etc, etc. is a good one at least on a local scale. It would be a good opportunity for a motivated group who happens to know a lot of hard-core smokers. Maybe advertise in bars and clubs. Problem with some of those traditional "party" products is that they are WAY overpriced in many cases. Even though you would likely want to handle great starter kits (Such as maybe a Riva 510 for example) You would want to avoid being just a mobile version of a Mall Kiosk. Keep prices consistent with the online vendors and you would have something really awesome.

ok, Chevelle, but my thinking was more along the lines of getting smokers to try something different from what you get at kiosks, and more info from real users, where and what to get, than actually buying them on the spot. hmm, maybe we should start a new thread on this?

Balth

Thanks Balth. It wouldn't be hard to beat the Mall Kiosks for quality and price thats for sure. This topic may well warrant a separate discussion. Maybe even in another, more appropriate forum. One may already exist. Haven't checked.

...with apologies to the OP for this little thread sidetrack.
