MAP Tank Cartomizer Question

Hay everyone, I've had my MAP tank for a while now and was wondering if you can cut the black carts instead of the stainless? I need to change my cart and everyone seems to be out of the 3.2ohm XL stainless. Just not sure if there was an issue with the anodize or paint comming off and fouling the inside. Thanks

The black on the carts is just a sticker. I cut the cart tube off first, then peel the little that remains on the bottom (threaded) end.

Hi StuckinLA!

The MAP tank was designed to use CE2's not carto's. With that being said, you can use the black CE2's and just peal the black sticker off and clean any excess glue off of them with alcohol.

I can't speak for carto’s, as I’ve not used them with the MAP Tank!

Sorry guys yea I ment CE2's lol it still early here in Calif. lol Very cool that means I can stock up and not have to wait for the stainless to get back in stock W00t!!!!! Thanks guys

You can peel off the label. Clean with alcohol and cut. Works the same.
