I'm trying to make some maple bacon, the bacon flavor is crazy strong, I only put 3% in it, and then I put 20% for the maple syrup flavor, I hope this one turns out better, the last one I tried was nasty, toob much bacon at 5%. Treated like a pigs ....

I ended up throwing away the plastic bottles when I tried something similar. You couldn't get the bacon smell out of it. LOL I had originally tried to do a straight bacon flavor and mixed it at 12% or something that was so strong that I wanted to lick the cat just to get the bad taste out of my mouth! Even the Waffles and Bacon that had 1% bacon and 19% other flavors was a total bust.
Yea I don't think I'm going to try the bacon again, not really a good flavor, maybe I'll stick to just the maple flavor, I bet that's pretty good as a stand alone flavor, it smells good anyway.
the trick with bacon is first using very little i.e. no more than one percent and two letting it steep until you no longer smell the bacon. I get a raisin type flavor after that. I use it with French toast and waffle along with a complicated mix of hangsen pipe tobacco.
