As the history goes, this is not good. Kinda reminding me of Juicy Clear. Ian has stated that reasons are personal & legal. The ranting here on the ECF seems to have just added fuel to the fire. I don't blame the customers for complaining about the bad service & lack of communication - that is all justified. MLV is a key player with Canada & it's vaping community. Just keeping my fingers crossed in hopes for quick & painless resolution.

I emailed him asking if he'd sell the business to me and maybe resolve his woes. His reply was "how much you offering?"
That's it! That's all he wrote. No hello. No "let's talk". No nothing!

I have a feeling that things will get worse for him before they get better. I sincerely hope he pulls through this and I wish him luck.

Ian just PM'd me and by the sounds of it, he will be back, bigger and stronger.

That's great to hear. I would have been gutted to hear of another major Canadian juicer shut down. I love Ian's juices, what I've had of them, and though I've never really spoken to him much apart from initially contact him about reviews a few months ago, he seems like a really nice guy to boot. I hope to see him return to form soon.

Well I know I am not holding a pitchfork and am kinda insulted. I just know what good business practice is and when someone makes a promise you should stick to it. I absolutely loved his juices and even defended him in the beginning because I know what it's like when life throws you curveballs and you have to jump through hurdles to get past it all. This isnt personal and business is business. Dont make promises you cant keep and if you cant handle it yourself hire people and if you cant do that than close the doors. (even if its temporary) The quality of the juice has diminished, the service is horrible (now), and it takes over 7 days for someone in Ontario to get their order. I just think it's hardly fair for someone to say we are just to blame for the circumstances. The first time I ordered (after all the stress of his new baby) he said it would be a 48 hr turnaround, which is bearable right? Especially for juices I adored! But that was not the case it took 10 days to get to me and when Ian stated it was sent out on the 7th date well yes it was but on a late Friday and didnt arrive till the Monday afternoon which adds another 3 days. Again loved his juices but the Argh why 4 was like vaping water. Was no flavour and I paid for a double shot, and I had 0 throat hit. Ordered Wurthurs and Applewood tobacco. waited another 10 days and it was again bad tasting hardly any throat hit. I emailed to ask why is that and they offered to send me a replacement of the Argh Why 4 this was 17 days ago. I havent received anything which tells me they dont care or respect me as a customer.
Jugheads - personal emails great service great juice!

I have complained directly to them this is just a discussion as there is nothing that I can do about my own situation now anyway. If they dont choose to respond due to their issues thats their decision. I wish no ill will on any vendor as I know how hard it is to run a business. I dont wish for a response by them as they had the chance and chose not to. Hope they can come back strong and earn back the business I'm sure they have lost. I for one don't think I will go back. I am quite satisfied with Jugheads.

Did anyone ever think of other problems that arise? Possible bad shipment of nic, shortages caused by customs or poor service from suppliers. This more than likely is not be the case, but Ian has always been a complete vendor. When problems arise, let's not chastize him. As was indicated, he has informed a member that he will be back, when? We will know when that happens. Sit tight and let's give Ian our support at this time. He's a stand up guy...not what some here have led us too believe. Yes, some are not getting their orders, but you do have alternatives. Go with it until further notice. GL Ian and may your venture return better than ever.:toast:

Again this is nothing personal about what kind of person Ian is nor am I criticizing him as a person. I am just talking about my own recent transactions with MLV. I wish people would seperate the two as I never once said that he is bad. Yes your business reflects who you are and vice versa but I know how I am with my own customers and I definitely learn from my mistakes. That being said I hope MLV does get back on track as they were loved by many including myself. Also when problems do arise the one thing that can keep your customers happy is communicate and keep them in the loop. They will stay loyal and you wont lose them as a customer. Just my :2c: I have nothing left to say lol I'm not a bad person nor do I enjoy speaking or writing negatively.. I'm all about joking and having fun for those that know me anyway :p

If what you said is true why do I still not have my items that have been paid for going on 40 days now or even an email offering a refund or his circumstances. My order was placed before others on this forum and they have indicated that they have received them. As mentioned earlier in this thread emails have gone back and forth to no avail. Chastize him? Really? People who commit fraud are generally charged or do time. If and when things are worked out everyone will know. Until then.......

When folks start using the term FRAUD in a correspondence, then it is high time you contact the ECF administration. There is a plce to raise these issues and it is called the negative vendor review sub, please do so.

Conversations on a general sub only fuel drama and bring people out of the wood work because at the end of the day people are sheep. They tend to go where they are flocked.

I an not saying that folks do not have issues, but there is a place to voice these issues. If folks do not have the gumption to step up to that plate, then please don't add drama where it is not required.

In closing I am far from saying Ian is free of sin, all I am saying is that he was a victim of circumstances (they have already been explained). This time under advice he has shut down and will NOT re-open until he can control his business and customers. Considering that ECF is but a small portion of his business, he may well never re-open the store again, and in all honesty (humbly) I wouldn't blame him!

ETA:http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ikenvape/74212-ikenvape-help-center-26.html post 1011 on. No e-mails were ever received. I was the victim of similar circumstances.
