This is all going to depend on what your after in your next Mod.
I have Both and like Both.
That said, I actually have 5 Nemesis and Prefer using them over any of my other Mech Mods.
Maraxus is a great conversation piece. A heavy, in your Face type device. Bottom switch it okay but a bit inconvenient being recessed.
Protrusions are a bit sharp and can wear on the hand.
I decidedly dedicated my Maraxus to my Trident Dripper. They go well together.

Nemesis and kayfun - could not ask for more. Comfortable Mod and a great Vape experience.

I have a Nemesis and a Maraxus (both clones). Both very well made and great performers. However I use my Nemesis regularly and my Maraxus is only used once in a while as a dripper. Both great devices but the Nemesis is the better of the 2. If you go that route I would recommend a Nemesis clone from HCigar. I have a Fast Tech brass one as well and it's not quite as nice as the HCigar stainless one.

I will say my experience may be colored as i just recently got my Maraxus, but personally, i prefer the Maraxus over the hcigar Nemesis stainless.

Here is why: The Maraxus is reconfigurable, to solve the teeth biting into the hand issue, i turned the small toothed ring so the teeth faced up. (simple buffing will solve the sharpness issue, just havent had the time).

I also love the look. The Maraxus hits harder than my Nemesis, has a floating center pin so, when i switch atty's i don't have fiddle with unscreing the top cap, backing down the 510 pin etc, just loosen the main tube disconnect the atty , put the new one on tighten, done.

The main thing is the switch I don't have to fiddle with it its solid, and works flawlessly. On my Nemesis even after upgrading the switch with magnets and better pins, it can still be fiddly or catch on the side of the tube when firing, though im thinking of cutting down the locking ring by 1 mm so the vent holes show and can get the switch high enough so it doesn't catch, though adamantly this doesn't happen often since the upgrade, its still annoying when it does. I like the recessed button the the Maraxus the way its gripped makes it easy to use 1 or 2 fingers, it also makes it so no locking ring is needed.

I do like my Nemesis but the the design while being high configurable as to throw, switch position, manual 510 pin adjustment, capable of 18650 and a kick has its limitations as you do have to fiddle with it because of this, while these are also its strengths. It also has a great sleek look. Personally I see my nemesis staying at home with my dripper, kinda opposite of most the peeps here. Mainly due to that on the go or at work i change rta's alot. (love flavor variety, lol), So the floating center pin makes it so i can change tanks easier and faster and don't have to worry about a locking ring or accidental firing.

Personally Id say get both, they are both great mods and decide later which is for home and which you like on the go, its really subjective after all.

Though if you can only get 1 for now, id say if your on the go more and like to change tanks alot then The Maraxus is the better choice , but if you like a mod that has alot of technical options and wont be changing tanks that often or have a few of the same tank so you dont have to adjust the pin, the Nemesis is is a solid choice.

Do get both though eventually, they are well worth it.

I've got clones of both, and use both regularly. Currently the Nemesis is powering an AGA-TD, and the Maraxus is sitting under a KFL clone.

I like the weird (even, perhaps, ugly) look of the Maraxus. The only ding I'll give it is that the brass plating on the center telescoping tube is wearing off. But, it WAS a $30 clone, so it doesn't bother me that much. The grip is easy to get used to, my hand naturally slides into the grooves between the teeth and I use my ring finger to fire. And I've NEVER had a misfire. Conductivity is also rock solid.

The Nemesis, however, is a mod that I think probably everyone who is interested in mechanicals should own at least one of. I kind of think of it as "the standard." Mine came from fasttech so I don't even know who the manufacturer is, but it's never given me any problems.

Always remember to thoroughly clean your mechs when they arrive, inside and out, with a isopropyl alcohol/water mixture. ESPECIALLY the threads and inside the tubes. Be careful doing this, since there may very well be sharp burrs left from the machining process.

But, all that said, it comes down to looks I think. :D
