Maxxwell: I had the same thing happen with my beloved parliaments. I was using the cartos when i started and it was my favorite. I got sick of the flavor when I tried to refill with the juice and overdid it. Went back to cartos a couple months later my parliament was my favorite again.

go back to the cartos. ; )

Yep, I have 50 cartos and 4 bottles of Cowboy, they all taste the same. I bought a little bottle of maple concentrate by Lorann at the store when I was looking for liquid Splenda, which they stopped making. I don't know what % of maple to use, I put a little in a carto and it might have potential but it's too strong now. I'm not a mixer and can't afford to hit and miss. I can't find a Lorann mixing chart. I'll try the milk chocolate trick first, as I do miss the Cowboy taste. At least now I know it's not just something that happened to me. I'll get some various tobacco cartos tomorrow. Dunhall was pretty good ;)

I came up with a fix for one of the bottles. 50/50 Cowboy and Virginia with 3% maple from LorAnn. That's all I had to work with. It'll NEVER be a big hit seller, I swear to gawd! Not sure if I'll get thru the whole 30Ml or not - lol ;)

The biggest draw back which I found out too late is maple has artificial color in it and is kind of gunky on the cart as well as the lungs, even at 3%.

Maxwell - I know things change as I have carts of a flavor that used to be one of my favorites and now all I taste is flowers or perfume. I just ordered some juices and am hoping maybe a shot of WOW Vanilla will do the trick for me. It's not the carts - just my taste buds... Glad you got your 'Cowboy' back:)

This is a very interesting thread and I really like Cowboy too. The strange thing about this subject in general is that all of us smoked cigarettes and theypretty much tasted the same, day in and day out. Now with vaping I really get burned out on one flavor after a few hours and switch carts (flavors) several times a day. And then there are some flavors I once liked and now can't stand like Dunhall & Hilton. I started out with Virginia and got to where I did not like it, then, I recieved one as a "freebie" the other day and I like it again now. There has to be a scientific explaination for this and the affects on the taste buds, but it's beyond me.

I have gone down this road so many times..Like it today dislike it the next! Then lo and behold..I love it a month later! That is why I have a suitcase filled with liquids..better to be broke then unhappy! I just started vaping my beloved RY4 premium again..I was so burned out on it that I haven't touched it in 6 months. Gooood!
When my grandon was a baby he called tastebuds..Tastebugs so the offical explanation is:
They move around! :)

Well it's a great relief to know it isn't something that happened to just me. With vaping I guess variety is a must for some of us. I'm wondering now if the posts about inconsistancy isn't really the person's taste 'bugs'' moving around? ;) I'd have blamed the liquid if I hadn't just vaped it right before I lost my taste for it. I bet a lot of ppl do that. Just set it down for a while and come back to it. Very interesting ....

Hey, how do you like my haircut? I think it makes me look 10 days younger :p

This happens to me too. I used to vape several flavors that I cant stand now. I know the juice has not changed. I think you just get used to the flavor and then this is what happens. What drives me nuts is my girlfriend. She has been vaping the same flavor for 6 months now. She never tries anything new, and never complains. So maybe everyone is different. This is probably what is causing a lot of the "the juice has changed" complaints that I see all the time. I dont think it is the juice. I think it is tastebuds....
