Hey there,
Just received my Marquis a couple days ago, and I am experiencing issues with leaking out of the airholes. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has found a workaround. I'm using dual vertical coils, and it seems that if I put just a hair too much juice in it starts leaking out of the airholes, especially if they are in "back" of the rda. I've only tried a couple builds, so it could very well be an issue on my end (not enough cotton maybe?). Anyway, would love to hear from some other Marquis owners.

Got mine today and its going good.
Have a dual coil, put wicks in all the way to the bottom and the top of them are about 2mm above the positive screw.

First dripper i got i took the top off and just dripped onto the wicks. the next two Ive been doing it i gather the more traditional way.
Gather some or most are just dripping straight down.
Took the drip tip bit off before and dripped on top of the wicks a couple and down the centre between the coils, then vaped it with air holes facing down and nothing came out the air holes.

Funny enough, the Marquis could have been the absolute perfect atty with about 1 minute more mill time to mill grooves to make a ridge for the airhole to sit on (just like the veritas) on each side.

I got into an argument with the designer on Youtube about this tiny detail they overlooked.

He basically called me an idiot and told me it 'didn't leak' or that old gem 'if you over drip anything, it will leak'.

Really guy? Is that why you put a 2ml juice well in there? lol

Pbusardo even mentions EXACTLY what i told the guy in his review(though he wants it milled for 'juice capacity').

Don't get me wrong its still a really nice atty, just came up a hair short.

I thought of that too, but it would defeat the whole reduced chamber that gives the taste.

I doubt it would effect it at all, we're talking about a few MM deep notches cut on both sides of the airhole, if anything the chamber on the Marquis is even further reduced from the Veritas, which has no flavor issues imo.

Sounds like you have too much cotton in the build. I only put enough to go through the coils and hit the bottom of the deck - nothing more. I've tried just a very very very small piece of cotton between the two coils and didn't notice a difference.

What I found works best is to use 1/2 of what you would twist down the coil and fold it in half over a paperclip (something very small) and push it down through the coil until it hits the bottom.

If you have a pile of cotton in the juicewell it will most likely leak when overdripping.
