So I got my Marquis rda clone from fasttech. It was 12 bucks and some change at the time, I believe it's 11 now (whatever the most expensive model is)

Holy hell. Flavor is on par with my Holmes RDA, and it chucks clouds. Aside from that, it is super easy to build on for both single and dual coil. Seriously, I have never had as much satisfaction from an RDA as I have from this. I used to hate RDA's; I stuck with RTA's and Geni's... This has single-handedly changed that.

I'm uploading a (most likely crappy) review to youtube in a couple of minutes if anyone wants to see it in video form and how to build it if anyone feels like seeing that (message me or post here if you want the title; I'm not here to advertise my ....ty youtube channel). But seriously, I really can't recommend this highly enough. It gave me an entirely different flavor for my juice, and I don't think I can stop dripping now 0.o

Thanks for the heads up on this one Cory, May I ask what build you use and your wicking method. Also, as with all fasttech products, what was the condition of this clone on arrival, did it require any cleaning or modding? Thanks, and would like to see your youtube thing somehow although I understand your reserve in not posting any self-serving promotion here! Perhaps you can PM me if that is allowed??!!

I did 2 3-mm coils of 7 wrap 26g kanthal. Pushed KGD strips through the coils to the deck with a micro screwdriver, and then laid a small piece of cotton on the deck between them (I think I saw either Rip or Pbusardo wick this way). Vapes like a champ!

Awesome . Ordered mine from FastTech about a week ago. Who knows how long before it'll be here. Was the machine oil particularly bad to clean off, or was that a non -issue?

This will be my first dripper, and my first atty from FT. So glad this thread popped up. Subscribed and would love more details. I was going to build this by following the Pbusardo build too.

ALSO anyone please comment for me. I am totally new to dripping. How many watt device will I reasonably require for this dripper? I am not a mechanical mod guy...but will buy a regulated device that can make this baby sing. I'd like to build within .4 or .5 ohm at lowest and hopefully keep my sights on a 50W device.

Just watched about half the vid....will watch in depth later. Thanks for your efforts. It's good to see real people using these devices and giving honest first impressions of them. Sometimes I don;t need another RipTrippers rant about how spectacular something is........or Pbusardo finding fault with every $50 device because it doesn't do everything.

This is an $11 atty from FT. Your expression while vaping on it tells me what I need to know. A genuine smile cause of all that flavor! I'm excited for this thing to come.

Bored2Tears, mine came pretty clean of machine oil, but I gave it a quick rinse in water anyways. One thing based on the reviews I've seen on the authentic, the black (likely delrin) piece that screws into the drip tip fits very snugly on my top cap, which is good in that it will not come loose accidentally, but also makes removing it to drip a little harder. No biggie though.

On a regulated device, if you're into flavor more than clouds, 50W is fine. I have the IPV2S which goes up to 70W, and I've maybe vaped that high twice to show it off. I'll usually stay at 25-35W for a warm, flavorful vape that doesn't cook the juice with decent clouds.

tFOrRESTee, interesting using a single wick, I'll have to try that some time!

Nice. The IPV Mini 2 is on my short list, near the top.

On all my existing RDAs, I just drip through the tip assuming it's wide enough. Any reason to remove it at all?
