Didnt even come with the coiling rods. Mega pis*ed hope i have got to pay for the shipping all the way over here ( UK )

Wow that really sucks... Pretty difficult to build on it without them but you can find rods the same size as the holes and use those for now

Who did u buy it from?

Hi jtatwolves,

My marquis is still sitting in UK customs so looking forward to see how you get on with yours.

That sucks your posts are missing.

Wow! Bummer! That warrants a phone call. Be pleasant though it might get you your rods shipped at no cost.

I got my Marquis yesterday and this morning I finally got a build on it. I'm still new at building so my attempts last night with dual vertical coils were disastrous and ugly as sin. This morning I took another member's advice and went for a single coil. 26 gauge Kanthal, 3 mm post, 7 wraps, vertical shooting for a 1.0 ohm. Meter read it at 1.07, the VS rDNA 30 read it at .9. It works and I was happy.

I still manged to build on here. Id say wicking is harder than the build. Will be even easier when i get the rods. Single coil at 0.9 ohms is the best flavour ive had. Really warm and dense because the chamber is so small and the airflow has to pass through the coil.
I also love the tight air draw on this beast.
Can anyone tell me how to post photos on here ??

just got my marquis yesterday and the flavour is awesome.

got a question though.
how do i take off the atty without removing the top cap?
twisting it just adjusts the airflow lol.
sorry if its a stupid question.

I am still waiting for my Marquis but this sounds like a good problem to have as I was worried that adjusting the airflow with the top cap installed would loosen or over tighten the 510. :)

Does anybody own this and a Veritas? Is it worth getting if I already have the Veritas? The build tools make this RDA so tempting, but after having gotten used to building on the Veritas I don't want to get another similar RDA.

I would say no... Vapor and flavor are a bit similar and if you're used to building on the veritas then it's about the same... I WOULD like to see that crown nut on top of the veritas tho

IMO, it is an upgrade in terms of flavour and vapour, albeit not a big one.

Still using the first build i did on it which is a single coil, so im sure others can give better feedback.
To me, building on the veritas seems easier as you can just fire and pinch the coil to make it tight.
I can't do it on the marquis as there isn't enough space to do so.
I hold the coil with tweezers and torch it before putting it on the deck.
Re-wicking is also not the easiest as compared to other rdas, but it could just be me.
Again, it was my first time building on it so i may just need to get used to it.

I did switch from the veritas to the plume veil v1.5 before getting the marquis as i found the plume veil gave better flavour.
Flavour on the marquis is on par with the plume to me.

Good question, I was thinking it would be similar to the Veritas and don't think it is. I seem to prefer fruitier flavors in the Marquis and creamy flavors in the Veritas. Both as excellent devices but the Marquis is much easier to get dual coils going perfectly - I only run single coils in the Veritas because it is a PITA to coil.
