I tend to marry flavors with tanks. Usually once i assign it to tank it pretty much always goes in that tank for a very long time. It makes it easy for me when i reach for something i know what i am getting else i lose track of stuff. I also tend to stick with the same few juices. Most of my vaping friends have a new juice everytime i talk to them and tend to vape that bottle dry and move to the next one. I also rebuild or replace coil and wash out tank before i would change flavors they tell me after a few puffs the flavor is gone but not in my experience.

LOL - I'm into "Flavor Roulette"

That way, it's almost always a surprise :D Even if I switch flavors in a tank, as long as they're complementary, I don't have issues. I'll clean tanks when I need to rewick/recoil or change a coil....

BUT - do what works for YOU. This is the beauty of vaping.

I agree with this. I made my own juice and it is flavorless and I've been vaping this one tank for a while now (maybe 3-4) fillups, and still after all of that all I can taste is this "cloud 9" flavor that was the last flavor in the tank. I even emptied/rinsed it first. But I didn't bother to replace or rinse the coil. Just that little bit of residue that was in/on the atomizer goes a long way in contaminating the flavor of following refills.

I vape all rta's and have around 6 in my daily rotation, all with different juices. Those tanks are definitely married to those juices and because I have a few exact tank and mod set ups, I rely on different color drip tips to discern the juices. Besides the 6 in rotation, I have a few others that I use to try different juices if I decide to try some new ones. If I do decide to switch flavors, I would definitely wash and rewick before. Now my wife could care less, she asks me to fill her tanks and I just grab whatever I like less and fill hers and she loves it all (I call it mutt mixes)

Yes, marrying one flavor for a tank is a good idea. The previous juice will stay in one tank for a wile. Even with me being into rebuildables, it makes it a lot easier when you keep one flavor for one tank for a while. That is why if I like a tank, I will buy several of those tanks just for that reason.

It can go a bit further, and say you prefer different resistances for certain juices. I like my all day vape at around .7-1.0 ohms. However, I have a caramel that's even better at hotter flavors, so I build a tank in the .3 to .5 ohm range. It's not that the flavor is bad at different ranges, but they do taste better... if I put my Guava/custard in a low ohm tank, it tends to loose some of the fruity undertones. if I put the caramel flavor in the higher ohm tank, it looses a bit of sweetness to it.

So yes, I do marry tanks with flavors. when I mix a new flavor, I usually rebuild the tank along with it.

I have 3 main tanks for different flavor profiles but not just one flavor. Tobaccos/Deserts/Fruits are the main tanks and I have one strictly for Bakery style flavors in the AM. Not into Menthol and if I was that would get it's own tank dedicated to it.

This is much closer to my method as well.
I actually enjoy the initial blending and creation of something new when I do switch to another flavor (something "complimentary" of course).

The only part of the OP I'd disagree with is the friends' saying the blended flavor goes away that fast.
Can take a half tank, two tanks, or never depending on the prior flavor.
Some otherwise innocuous flavors can be ridiculously long lasting. :)
