:ohmy:Hi Folks,

i'm new in this forum but i thought this might be interesting for you:

There are massive manufacturing tolerance on GG Stealth TOP CAP in stainless Steel which was delivered in 12/2011.

http://www.e-cigarette-wiki.com/images/5/54/SSGGTSStealthExploded.jpg

I'm talking about the parts 5.1 , 5.2 and 5.3

So first the firing pin (5.3) has a winding like a screw and it is screwed into firing pin insulator (5.2) who is made out of soft plastic - very fragile and ít is nearly impossible to screw it out of the Top Cap (5.1).

If you were reading this thread:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/244824-gg-stealth-bulli-problem.html

there Imeo said that the stealth has 3.9 mm until it should get contact ...

My measurements (on 2 GG Stealth SS) showed a complete different picture:

1st GG Stealth SS: 4.18 mm
2nd GG Stealth SS: 4.21 mm

as example depth on 2 ProVari's:

1st ProVari: 4.07 mm
2nd ProVari: 4.04 mm

AND YES: The FIRING PINS (SCREWS) were screwed in to the absolute Limit!

What this means? No contact to nothing! Not to A2-TM SS, BigDaddy-tank & Carto, TorpedoTank&CE2 and so on ..

I think the probleme is the .....ing soft plastic firing pin insulator (5.2) which is impossible to screw it out without destroying the whole thing. Probably the "end cap" of this part is too thick or it is not really screwed in very tight. But to find this out you must destroy it and order a new one - if it is available (think cost 3 Euro for the spare part and 13 Euro for shipping) ...

So at the moment i decided to wait until the GG Odysseus arrives and i hope it has 5 mm long 510 winding otherwise i have the same contact problems with GG stealth

... just another wonderful "artwork" for my glass cabinet ... nice to have ... nice to look on ... but that's it ... not really something to vape with:grr:

... and for "plug and vape" from the first minute on ... i'll stick on my ProVari ...
