I hope it's enough to turn the tide, I'm so sick of the witch hunt.

My daughter in school (adult ed) is stuck with a bunch of ...... that gulped the kool-aid and are unbelievebly stupid about it, they'd rather smoke because according to their "info", vaping is the devil and worse than cigarettes.
I am so tired of my parents and others telling me exactly this. I can't wait for them to start researching and learning the truth. This is great news!!

Well, the RCP report is having an effect.

Two people at work have referenced it while asking me why there is such a large dichotomy between this report and other information they have been seeing.

I had been getting the word out on the UKH report, but this RCP position paper seems to have a much larger footprint in peoples' estimation of the relative safety of vaping.

Now I'm wondering what the ANTZ push back is going to look like.

It's hard to attack an organization with the credentials the RCP brings to the fray.

No doubt they will think of something.

Another interview with John Britton.

"In this episode of RegWatch hear directly from John Britton, professor of epidemiology and Chair of the Tobacco Advisory Group at the Royal College of Physicians. He led the team of experts that produced the comprehensive report. Get in-depth details on the findings and learn why Prof. Britton says it should not be easily dismissed"

I am in the south, commonly known as the bible belt. I am NOT from the south, but from So Cal, so I feel comfortable judging.
The pastors and the church community routinely refer to vaping as the new devils toy. I attend a 12 step meeting on church property once a week and they have an ashtray at the door for smokers but do not allow vaping on the property and have said to me "do not let anyone from the congregation see that" when referring to my ecig
My grandson belongs to a different church and the pastor routinely talks about vaping in the same breath he talks about designer drugs from China as in "all the new evils in the world today."
I am NOT anti church and belong to a christian church but it is one where the pastor is open minded.

I had to visit someone in the emergency room yesterday, and decided to bring my mod because those situations tend to be stressful and long. I figured I could just excuse myself to the bathroom and take a few puffs if needed. Well I wasnt aware of there would be a metal detector before being allowed back...I emptied my pockets which included a vape pen and box mod, the guard look at it and with broken English said "vape?" I responded yes, and then they gave me my stuff and let me through with no problems.

I guess not everyone has something against vaping, but you'd think a hospital might!

People are much easier to control (and brainwash) when they're "under the influence".

LOL...

And nobody in Croydon is sans "other stuff". Ever...

Security wouldn't care either way. They don't prevent you from bringing tobacco in either, even the "tobacco free" places.

They are only concerned with weapons (firearm specifically. None so far have cared about folding knives).

Odd. I have no issues at a Southern Baptist church here in Alabama.
I don't recall vaping ever even being mentioned.

Then again, we have several members that carry, including the roaming security volunteers.

Alcohol is another story all together.

So are southern churches.

I met a pastor in TN that says he insists his entire congregation own, carry and use firearms.

Even plans several outings each year from hunting to sport shooting.

Says everyone should be ready to fight and die for what they believe in.

Pointed to his side arm and reassured me he was.

Not sure about the new pastor, but the old one works for a hunting products company (decoys, calls, etc). He personally carries. Bought my short shotgun from him. Borrows a pistol for my wife to try out. Had a dozen rifle barrels for future projects. He also makes and smokes pipes.

The piano player carries.

The youth group goes to a deacon's house for organized shoots.

Just so far, vaping hasn't come up. My tube mod is normally in my shirt pocket (where my tobacco pouch used to stay), but only a few have ever commented on it, mainly clarifying what it was.
