math wizards..need help..what do I have and what do I need to add to get it where I want it?

Ok... so I'm mixing my base. I have 36mg nic in PG, PG and VG. I want to make 7mg at 50/50 PG/VG. Simple enough, I've done it many times. This time I messed up. My calculator tells for this percentage, to get 40ml I need to mix together...
7.7ml Nic with PG
12.2ml Straight PG and
20ml VG

Simple. Instead of the .7 for the nic with PG, I added another 7ml! and instead of the .2 for straight PG, I added another 2ml (forehead slap)

Sooo, what I now have is 48ml of
14ml nic with PG
14ml straight PG and
20ml of VG

My question... what have I got and what do I need to add to it to bring it down to 7mg and 50/50 PG/VG?

By my math you have 48ml of 10.5mg/ml juice

(36mg/ml * 14ml = 504 total mg of nic in the bottle, divided by 48ml of juice = 10.5 mg of nic per ml)

You want 7mg/ml juice.

Add 24 ml of no-nic base to what you have. You'll have a total of 72 ml of juice and your nic should now be 7% (the same 504 mg total nic divided by 72ml = 7mg of nic per ml)

Thanks.. I've figured that what I've made is 10.5% and it's 41%VG. What percentage of that added 24ml of no nic base should be PG and what percentage should be VG to get the total up to 50/50?

I'm got 5 bottles of the 48ml mix that I messed up on. I'm going to dump it all into one container to make 240ml of 10.5mg and (I think) 41%VG... what should I add to that 240 ml to get 7mg nic and the whole mix be 50/50?

If you're at 41% currently, that means 19.68ml of your 48ml is VG. If you want the final 72ml to be 50/50, then you want a total of 36ml VG. Since you already have 19.68ml of that, then you need to add another 16.32ml VG. The remaining 7.68ml of the 24 no-nic you're adding would be PG.

If you have 5 bottles 48ml each of the incorrect juice, you'll be adding a total of 120ml no-nic base. 81.6ml of VG and 38.4 ml of PG.

With that said, if you're going to add any flavoring this doesn't take into account if those are PG or VG base.

Thanks! I make my base to a certain percentage and then add flavors later. I'm aware that adding flavoring will bring down my nic% and I take that into account when I make my base. This is the first time I've messed up like this, adding 7ml instead of .7. I make the base higher than what I want, knowing that the flavoring will lower it. I don't use a lot of flavoring at all. Since using gennys, I've had to drastically cut my nic to keep from getting headaches. My last batch was 5mg.. but I was vaping so much so I decided to up it a little bit.
