Now a U.S. Congressman, but as I recall, he still holds shares in njoy and thus it would be an easily exploitable conflict of interest if he began pushing back against the FDA's actions on e-cigarettes.

I met with Congressmen Salmon yesterday and we had a great discussion about tobacco, Health Care, small business, regulation and our community.
My lab is located in his district. I have great respect for him and his values. He was instrumental with the FDA case and was very active with the ecig industry a few years ago. He was never a smoker but believes in the right and freedom to smoke or use tobacco.
It was a honor to meet with him and talk one on one.
Yes, all good comments and for now- on our side but don't let TVECA fool you- they are for smaller scaled cig-a-likes and non-refillable liquids (AKA cartridges) and many companies who are are members of TVECA have thrown out flavors and are ready for minimal nic levels. It seems that they are geared up for if not already shaking FDA's hand for the regulations to come- in other words, they don't appear to care about throwing vapers who use mods and e-liquids in free form under the bus.
Representative Salmon isn't involved with TVECA. He was involved with ECA, but ECA folded. While TVECA claims it's the successor of ECA, I think it's mostly due to the fact that TVECA managed to get the rights to the old website (ecassoc.org) and redirect traffic to its site.

Didn't Matt Salmon have something to do with the bill that recently passed in AZ which restricts underage smoking? I don't think I was familiar with his name until I got a call to action on that bill.

Please show me where it states in the TVECA bylaws that they only support "non-refillable liquids (aka cartridges)".....If you have proof otherwise please correct me. I think your impression of the carts only stance from the TVECA is a big misnomer that has been spread by other groups.
