This could be in the wrong area on the forums. If so my apologies.

My Riva UNC lasted me since November but finally decided to pass away on me. I Tried to get another from form the same place I bought it at, but they were either out of stock, or stopped carrying them.

Instead of buying an encased battery ecig again I thought I would get my first mod. Money was definitely an object for me and after much thought on the subject I decided to go for the Maxi Roughtstack.

Originally I ordered the Black Crinkled, but they ran out of stock. I decided on the black stardust model they had.

It came in yesterday and all I have to say is... WOW.

There is so much I like about it, but ultimately I just wanted to share how "sparkly" it looks. I tried my best to get the camera to pick up as much of the shine as it could, but I don't think I did it much justice.

The Roughstack is a nice mod. I got one of the standard silver ones and was less than impressed when I opened the package. However, after a few minutes of polishing it looked great. It's held the shine for awhile now as well.

It will treat you right for a long time. There is a rough stack users thread in madvapes sub-section of the forum that might interest you... And yes indeed, the black stardust is very sparkly! I am the proud owner of the very first maxi RS black stardust. It was a gift/customer service sort of thing from hoogie76 when they got their powder coating equipment. It has been one of my favorite mods because it is simple, durable, and reliable (plus the powder coating looks great!)

I got one of the black crinkles, not too long ago. Now I wonder if I should have gone with the stardust. Either way it's a competent mod

I only have Cartomizers and atomizers here at home so I didn't need to worry about the tank issues. From what I was reading, people who use tanks buy extensions that Madvapes sells on their website.


StotheK, I originally wanted the black crinkled, though I am glad they ran out of stock and I had to choose the stardust. The folks at Madvapes gave me a call to say they ran out of stock on the crinkled and wanted to know if I wanted another option. It was really good customer service.
