I have an issue with my extension adapter thing as it does not extend to the end of the cone in my epower. I have just looked at pictures of the products you just mentioned. They all list as having 510 connection, but none have exposed threads in the pictures. Am I just missing something or do those products come with an adapter like the vortex uses?

yes standard ego is fine and we are looking into short mini 510 extenders so this way you can use it on everything without that much extra length added to the whole set up.

I'd be down for a mini 510 extender as well. The ones we have to use for the Turbine and such is twice as long as it needs to be.

yea i didnt understand before but i see now that the extender was ment for using these devices without the cone and the existing extension only serves to make it long enough to clear the cone threads and it must be too long for that since everybody wants a shorter one. I was trying to use a tank and the cone at the same time since i didn't want the threads exposed and i have a cord attached to my cone. for this setup I need a little longer extension.

For design purposes a 510 to 510 connector that is made the same way as the 808 to 510 connector would do the trick in my case. i am not sure that would be long enough for the maximizer though.
As a side note the center connector in the 808 adapter is threaded allowing you to adjust the height of the center connector. If the 510 adapter was made the same way then it could be adjusted up to work with some devices where the center pin does not stick out enough...

I have not received my maximizer yet, but I have several homemade ce2 tanks. I used a dremmel tool to cut the cone in half or so. The tank fits in nicely, but regular carts have plenty of room to wobble. I also ordered a second epower kit so that I have an extra cone that is standard sized.
