Here's what I've experienced with Maximum Vapors.

On 07/01/2012, I contacted Todd by phone, as my previous website requests were left unanswered. France didn't appear in the country list, so I wanted to know if it's possible to send his mods there. We had a long nice talk after which he finally managed to approve the country and payment. He was nice enough to make a discount for shipping fees.
He promised he will send the 2 mods "in a few days". I must say now, I chose the Woodie V1.5 VV and Woodie V1.5 Luicy Juicy BECAUSE they were IMMEDIATELY available, according to the website.

On 07/11, I sent an email asking for news, got a very prompt answer telling me there's one mod still to be finished and that he'll send them both "tomorrow".
08/28, after a couple of PM for updates, Todd sent a "sorry" email with various excuses, promising he will send the mods "this weekend" with extra gifts.
09/14, no news so asking for a refund via PM. In the meantime, I got lots of discount newsletters for the «great opening sales» and witnessed people getting their orders on time.
My rare posts on his thread were completely ignored.

The second post was made after my second and last phone call to him : he sounded very sorry, said my package (sent out without a tracking), was lost. Lost? I didn't receive any shipment notice whatsoever. But on the spot, I felt sorry too – silly me – and asked him to give me any information about the shipment so I can investigate with the French postal service. Of course, he has never contacted me back.

So since late October, no news of my mods and $143.45 out of my pocket as a present for Maximum Vapors. I guess it's the price you have to pay for being understanding and patient.
Now there's no way to contact Todd whatsoever: he's locked his thread, PMs blocked, my recent customer request on website not answered, I left a profile message that was ignored as well although he seems to connect every day.
I'm just really really really gutted at this point.

Nice to see how Maximum Vapors is willing to do something about this issue (irony).
No reaction for 10 days, go on Maximum Vapors! Because I live far away, no need for you to care? How I love that kind of fair customer service.

Actually, it's not even $143, it's €143 as my Paypal account tells, which makes a good $175,50 offered to MV for their shop's "Grand Opening". I'm so happy I generously contributed to this event. They so much deserve such a donation.

order # AB-1430

To the moderators : am I allowed to paste screenshots of my MV account (order still processing) or the PP transaction, with my personal info hidden of course? Not sure whether this would help in anything, perhaps as a proof or what, thank you for telling me…

Just to keep all of the supporters updated (thank you).

I did get an answer to one of my tickets on Maximum Vapors webshop.
On 2/8/2013, a no-name staff member asked for my Paypal to send me a refund because "they have not had anytime to build any mods, they have been very busy". No sorry nor excuse, but that's a minor issue at this point.
Of course I immediately sent my Paypal address, with the transaction number, date, my name, and a screenshot of the transaction page to make sure they find it and refund me the correct sum.

More than a week later now, I'm still waiting for the refund.
