In the land of no hills and red dirt
Funny how you can see people in real life for the first time and feel like you've known them forever. Someone mentioned that this wasn't just a vape meet, it was like a family reunion. Except there were no fistfights. The postings made in this forum really do reflect the people who made them. Except that GloaJack may actually be crazier than he lets on.

We then decided that this was now officially "The First Annual Reo Family Reunion". It reflects more than ever how I feel about the Reonauts...they're my family.

Coming up next...real proof that Trucker exists!

I plead loss of hearing and dyslexia, m'lud.

And you Reonauts were AWESOME! I had such a great time. Jack, Alice, Kay, Jan...you're proof positive that life exists after fifty.

All of you were a pleasure and delight to be around, at the best possible time. I'm going through a really tough time in my life right now, and y'all were a God given comfort. Thank you.

So Alice, when n' where we meeting next year? I'm bringing my CPAP and my nightshirt and in like Flynn for the whole she-bang!

Thank you. My usual line would be 'you made a happy man very old' but that was not the case at all. With the man with a huge collection of stories and more people with the best collection of mods and talent from coil making to conversation.

I am worried Smurf and Kay are on the same wavelength but i'll cross that bridge...

A special thanks to Alice for all the hard work she did in the weeks beforehand. If you'd have us back again, we'll be there. That was the first of many i hope,

If you told me last August i'd have stopped smoking - i'd be "ok, let's see". If you told me i'd drive to Oklahoma and meet you all - my reply would get me a ban!

Finally, home and unpacked from an amazing and wonderful weekend. I will share some thoughts and feelings later when I am more coherent and have had a little time to let it all soak in but here are a few pictures for you all. These are Friday night, Saturday morning and night and Sunday morning. Other took lots of pictures during the big gathering and will hopefully post them soon. Here is what I have though.

That's the number rule, Jack!

The best part of waking up is....oh never mind and get me a refill.

Dear Lord, thank you for this blessed brew.

Winding down Saturday night.

The mountain man in his natural environment. Shhhhh...don't startle him or he might attack.

"That is really deep man."

Kay fixed Jack a wonderful breakfast as promised. Too bad he had left for Texas an hour earlier.

"I got your back, Jack. I polished it right off for you. You are welcome and of course indebted to me for some time now."
