I made an oops. I gotta ask because I'm just terrible at just about any shape or form of math. Got a juice at 6ml 20PG/80VG. So, I've bought a juice that should be here tomorrow at 15ml 100% PG to combine with the oops. I have about 4.5/5 ml left of the original oops.

When I combine these what will the new PG/VG formula be?

Right now my estimation is about 30-35% VG. So what would you say It's going to be?

Thanks for the help!

Ok, here is an easier way I used when teaching percentages.
5ml of 20%
+5ml of 100%
____________
10 ml of 60%
How= 20% + 100% each gives half of itself. So half of 20 is 10, half of 100 is 50....10 + 50 =60.

Now you have:
10ml of 60%
+10ml of 100% (what you didnt use the first time)
_____________
20ml +(half of each) 30+50=80%

That might be easier. I hope....

OK, so if you want to add the 20 to the 100, here is another way it will work:

Do the amount as one answer, and percents as another.

5 + 15 =20ml
But your also trying to find percentages.
Look at both numbers. 5 will go into each.
There is 1 five in 5, and 3 fives in 15.
so its a total of 4 parts.
you have one part 20%, and three parts at 100%
add them up and you have 320. BUT you have 4 parts in all. the first 5, and the three 5's in 15.
So you have to divide the total percentage(320) by the parts that went into it(4).
320/4=80
Is that any better?
