:vapor: ok, so payday im going to take the plunge and get a Delta 23 Atomizer / tank set up for Joyetech. Question is, since the coils get gunked up after time ( not sure the coils themselves would be fried. ) would a sonic cleaner extend the life of it,, like, clean the coils for more use? I'm hoping that makes sense to someone,,other than myself.

Welcome Ron!

Good question.... I had to look up the Delta 23, as I've not heard of that one before. I honestly can't say if the ultrasonic cleaning will be able to pull off the gunk (and not embed it into the wicking material) Can't tell what the wicking material is, so I can't even advise dryburning.... Tried some google searches to no avail :(

I believe your referring to the delta II tank and those use cotton wick so don't dry burn them. I have soaked Kanger coils and others in the past and have extended the life a little longer. The sonicator might help get you another couple tanks out of the coils. It looks like a good tank though.

If it's a 0.5 ohm coil like is in the ego one tank, I've been using a couple of q-tips to ream out the vertical coil.
A bit of the fuzz needs to be peeled off so it fits easily into the coil, and you must be gentle with it but it's been working for me. I usually use 2 q-tips per cleaning. When it comes out clean(ish) you're done.

The 1 ohm coil was too skinny to do this, but I've been doing it every day now for the last week and about 50ml of juice and the coil is showing no signs of baffing out yet.

Hope this helps.:vapor:

:vapor: Thanks Hitmetwice, that was the exact information i was looking for. I've been running a dripper since november, and have noticed the wicking goes bad LONG before my coils even start to show any type of wear on them.. so was just wondering about the Delta replaceable things.

Those badboys are even more pricey than the ego ones, we gotta get as many miles outta each coil as we can!:vapor:

Hi there i was wondering if anyone could help, i tried to post on the itaste vv thread but it wouldn't let me as I've just signed up. Any way I purchased an innokin itaste vv 3 weeks ago and have been getting on great with it, however, since yesterday it wont let me change the volts, now it only lets me change the watts. whether i press the plus or minus and the power button it only lets me change the watts e.g P8.0 not U4.0. this is really annoying as the voltage setting its on, is a little high and tastes burnt. A friend of mine who i bought the exact same itaste for is still able to change the voltage and as i previously said it was only yesterday when it stopped letting me change the volts. any help and suggestions would be great, many thanks.
