Okay, ordered from puresmoker.com for the first time today. Should be here sometime next mid-week.

In the meantime, been smoking from epuffer for the past 6 weeks.

Fifteen bucks for 5 carts fully atomized. from epuffer.

Five buck for 5 carts from puresmoker without the atomizer. And an additional cost of ten bucks for an atomizer.

Am I missing something?? Or do they both add up to fifteen??

Like I stated I haven`t yet got my order from puresmoker, so am thinking that I need some way to make that atomizer last longer than one month, or else the cost comes out to the same.

Been refilling my fully atomized carts from epuffer and find that about 2 refills is about max. Once I start to get that horrible taste in my mouth and throat, then I am totally done with that cart.

PS-- and over the years I have made many adjustments to my analog cigs, from buying tailor made to making/rolling my own. So I know that it takes some time to adjust, but I never/never adjust to a dry throat experience.

Just saying that with more than 50 years of smoking:wub: I am loving the elec experience, but ONLY when they taste awesome.!! And they only seem to taste awesome--hmmm, well lets say "at start up"??

Thoughts??

I'd have to say that most people using, eg, a 901 or a penstyle simply don't buy carts regularly - that's why your math is not adding up. They top them off with liquid.

The carts get refilled with liquid for varying lengths of time, some people even go weeks with the same cart and filling. And, when it's past its prime, the filling can be taken out and washed and put back in, or even replaced with inexpensive polyester batting.

So in this scenario the main cost to factor in is liquid, and the inevitable atomizer replacement at some point. Sometimes atomizers do last a month or more, but clearly sometimes much less time.

Oh, and the most commonly mentioned estimate of liquid use is 2 ml per day.

Hope that helps.

I'm still using my Magnum while I wait for my liquid from puresmoker and JC to arrive and I have the same problem. The carts for the Magnum are good for a bit but you never know when you are going to get hit with that god awful burning taste.

Even before you get the real nasty taste, there is a slow degradation in the flavor. I can't wait until I can control the flavor myself and no longer have to drag with that horrible feeling of doom.
