Hello girls, I tried the general forum and didn't get much help (help I could understand anyway). I'm not sure what carts I need to get for my new atty's. I have a bunch of longer carts for a 801 but my new 801 atty's have a higher bridge. Sun said that I needed shorter carts from JC but I have some carts from JC and they are the same size as my older, longer carts. I know you girls can help me :thumb:

Well, medic, I'd ask the same question in the general discussion forum unless you are looking to have some custom made or crocheted?

Short carts for High bridge 801 Atties?

Should be a nice clear title. :)

If all else fails ask the supplier you got the new atties from.

Best of luck!

C.

Could you maybe take out a little of the filling from the carts, or kind of make a hole in the middle of the stuffing like I've seen mentioned in here elsewhere? I have both kinds of 801 attys but haven't had much of a problem with the cartridges. The higher bridge ones just seem to naturally push the filling back up, kind of making an indent in them.

Thanks C and Sheila. I have had my PV for almost 2 months and I though I had a grasp of these things. Im usally pretty mechanically inclined but for the life of me I haven't been able to get the high bridge atty's to work well with any cart (pulling hair out LOL). It works well with dripping but I like the 801's because carts last a long time for me. Im begining to think its just me, I can't get the TV to work either! Sheila since yours works Im opimistic that mine will too. I don't know if you have solved my problem but I feel better. I think I'll chalk this up to solar flares, maybe PMS ;) and try again next week. Thanks again girls.

I have a couple of the high bridge attys. I didn't do anything different, but some have suggested taking a bent paper clip and making a bit of a center hole in the cart filler for the bridge to go into. They are supposed to wick better because they go deeper into the cart. Both of mine are in the dead bin.

My BE-112 (801) from bestecig.com have a higher bridge and I use their carts as well. I notice that the atomizer indents the middle of the carts anyway so I havent had any problems and it actually makes me vape the carts better. I think if you have bad/cheap/coarse filler material in the carts you're using it's probably what gives you problems because it's not holding/absorbing the liquid well and could be making the metal piece on your atty soggy/clogged (equivalent to overdripping on it). In any case, I would suggest getting carts from bestecig because they are better than the other 801 carts I purchases everywhere else (I have batches of carts from eastmall, bestecig, mayvaporstore - tried all of them and am telling you this out of my experience).

If you'd like I can even mail you two or three via snail mail and you can try it out if you'd like (free of charge)

Sorry I couldn't help Medic, I don't have your brand E-cig and get very confused about all the other types.
I am glad the others were of some help. Next time you run into a problem like this ask the places you deal with to send you one sample cart. I mean at the prices we pay..why not?
It took forever for me to find out that the dura c black round carts will fit my 901. Mike (hubby) likes the round carts but I hate the way the orange ones look! I was Wildsky or Lucky 7 that helped me. Go Girls!:thumb:
